Mohd88 is more than just another betting platform. We are a community built by Malaysians for Malaysians – with a deep understanding of what local players truly want: a platform that's honest, fast, secure and speaks our language.
From a simple idea to a platform trusted by hundreds of thousands of Malaysian players
Mohd88 started from a simple observation: Malaysian players deserve better. Better than platforms that don't understand the local context, that display interfaces in a foreign language, that require foreign currency conversion with hidden fees, and that have bonus terms deliberately complicated enough to stop players from withdrawing their winnings with ease.
The mohd88 founding team – made up of Malaysians who are themselves sports fans and online gaming enthusiasts – decided to build something different. Something that felt like home for Malaysian players. A platform that speaks our language, uses our currency, understands the sports we follow, and respects players as capable adults – not merely as a source of revenue.
Since launching in 2019, mohd88 has grown from a small platform into one of Malaysia's most trusted online betting destinations. With over 200,000 active members across the country – from Johor Bahru to Kota Kinabalu, from Kuala Lumpur to Kuching – mohd88 is now the first choice for players who prioritise safety, integrity and a genuinely quality playing experience.
"We didn't build mohd88 to be the biggest platform – we built it to be the platform Malaysian players trust most. That goal hasn't changed since day one."
— The mohd88 Founding TeamToday, mohd88 offers a comprehensive betting experience covering Sports Betting (Malaysia Super League football, EPL, BWF badminton, MLBB esports and over 30 sports), high-RTP jackpot slots, Live Casino with real dealers, Texas Hold'em poker and a wide range of other games — all on a single platform accessible from your mobile device, anytime and anywhere in Malaysia.
Six things that set us apart from other platforms in the market
More than five years in this industry have taught us a great deal about what Malaysian players truly need and want from an online betting platform.
These four principles aren't just slogans — they guide every decision we make at mohd88:
The trust of over 200,000 active Malaysian members is the greatest recognition mohd88 has received. Every new member who signs up on a friend's recommendation, every positive review from a satisfied player – these are the most meaningful metrics of success to us, far beyond any industry award.
There's something interesting about asking mohd88 members why they stick with our platform. Almost none of them say "because of the best odds" or "because of the biggest bonuses" – even though we work hard on both. What they mention most often is something more fundamental: a sense of security and trust.
Trust is hard-earned in the online betting industry. Malaysian players, like players everywhere, have heard of or personally experienced platforms that vanish without warning, withhold winnings without reasonable explanation, or change bonus terms after a player has already completed the rollover. These experiences have made players understandably cautious — and rightly so.
Mohd88 has been operating since 2019 without a single instance of withholding legitimate winnings or unfairly altering terms for our members. This track record is not something we take lightly — it is our most valuable asset, and we take great care to uphold it in every decision we make.
In terms of game coverage, mohd88 offers a truly comprehensive experience. For football fans, we cover over 60 leagues including the Liga Super Malaysia that so many of our members take pride in. We understand that Liga Super is no ordinary league to Malaysian players – it's our league, with our teams, and we give it the attention it deserves. Every match from JDT to newly promoted sides gets full odds coverage with both pre-match and live betting markets.
For badminton fans – and Malaysia is certainly home to some seriously passionate ones – mohd88 is a platform that understands just how important this sport is to us. When Lee Zii Jia or Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik compete on the world stage, we make sure odds are available early and our live betting coverage is among the most responsive in the Malaysian market.
Esports is another domain where mohd88 has made serious investments. MLBB Mobile Legends: Bang Bang MPL Malaysia has become a phenomenon in our country, drawing viewership that rivals traditional sporting events. We understand esports matches at a deep level — not just offering win/loss odds, but more specific markets like first kill, map handicap and correct map score that appeal to players who truly follow esports.
On the casino side, mohd88 partners with world-class game providers to deliver a slots and Live Casino experience that holds its own against any physical casino. Our jackpot slots display RTP transparently so players can make informed choices. Our Live Casino features real dealers with HD video quality, delivering a far more immersive playing experience than computer-generated games alone.
Our team is made up of Malaysians who are also players and sports fans themselves
Behind the four faces above, there are over 80 individuals working every day to keep mohd88 running at its best – from platform engineers to sports analysts, from the customer support team to the compliance team. They all share one thing in common: they genuinely care about your experience.
The quality of the playing experience at mohd88 doesn't happen by chance — it's the result of partnerships with world-class technology providers and game suppliers that we select carefully based on their track record in security, fairness, and service quality.
Every provider that partners with mohd88 goes through a rigorous vetting process — including licence checks, independent RNG audits, and platform performance testing. We make no compromises here, because our members' trust depends on the integrity of every partner involved in their playing experience.
All slot games and Live Casino titles on mohd88 use a Random Number Generator (RNG) that has been independently audited by internationally accredited certification bodies. This means every game outcome is genuinely random and cannot be manipulated by anyone — including our own platform.
In today's digital age, personal data security is a fundamental right — not a privilege. mohd88 continuously invests in security infrastructure to ensure that every piece of information you share with us is protected to the highest standard.
One of the things we're most proud of at mohd88 is our genuine commitment to responsible gambling. This goes beyond mere licensing compliance – it's a value we hold wholeheartedly, because we understand the real harm that unhealthy gambling habits can cause to individuals and their families.
We don't shy away from this topic. The mohd88 platform is built with features that actively help players stay in control of their gaming activity. Within account settings, every member can set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits that cannot be raised immediately — there is a 48-hour waiting period for any upward limit change, though limits can be lowered instantly. This is an intentional design choice to help you make more rational decisions when your mind is clear.
We also offer a Self-Exclusion feature that lets you lock your own account for 24 hours, a week, a month, or longer — however long you need. During this period, you will not receive any promotions or marketing communications from mohd88. This is how we respect your decision to take a break.
Mohd88's customer support team is also trained to recognise signs of problem gambling and respond with empathy and care. If you or someone you know may need help, we encourage you to reach out – not just for technical issues, but also for a conversation about your wellbeing as a player.
Mohd88 also does not accept registrations from individuals under 18 years of age. We apply a robust identity verification process to ensure our platform is only accessible to adults who can make responsible decisions about their play.
If you feel that betting is starting to have a negative impact on your daily life, relationships, or finances, please visit our Responsible Gambling page or reach our customer support team via 24/7 live chat. All conversations are strictly confidential.
We're always here to listen – whether it's a technical query, feedback on your playing experience, or simply wanting to know more about mohd88.
